Recently Completed Projects

This is our guest cabin we built on the Flathead River in Northwestern Montana.  We gathered the materials on the property and was a joint effort with my wife, daughter, and son.  

I will use this sawmill I just completed to  put a flat on log purlins for my house.  I am able to cut a 28" diameter by 56' log.	Click here for more sawmill pictures

This is the 52" brake described in the book "The Racers Guide To Fabricating Shop Equipment".  A change I made was to install two pillow block bearings on the pivot.  As much as it will get used, that probably wasn't necessary.
